Paul Vos

Paul Vos
Paul started work in 1980 as an assistant to John Vaughn, the British interior and
fashion photographer.
From 1984 to 1989 he worked as a photographer for international fashion and
interior design magazines and expanded into advertising campaigns.
While working as a photographer, he was asked to direct fashion short films for
television and corporate image films for brands such as O'Neill and Hennes &
Mauritz.
Gradually, he moved into the music video business during 1989 - 1990, giving up
photography entirely.
He spent a year in London during which he directed music videos for the British
music industry and started directing commercials.
In 1995 Paul set up his own Amsterdam-based production company, Zorro Films,
now titled Vos Films. Simultaneous to directing commercials, he privately
financed, produced and directed a short film in 2001. It was shown on multiple
European festivals.
